OVERVIEW
What is 8 Common Psychedelic Mistakes?
In this free webinar we discuss 8 of the most common mistakes so you can avoid them.
Psychedelic experiences are regularly reported as being some of the most profound and meaningful experiences in people's lives. New data is being released regularly about the medical and psychological benefits of psychedelic drugs. As the psychedelic research field continues to grow, the general public is starting to become more interested in the potential benefits that psychedelics may have on mental health and overall well-being. Just because the research points towards positive results, this does not mean positive results will be experienced through recreational use. While recreational experiences have been very beneficial for people in some capacity, the risk for psychological and physical danger increases.
With all that said, it is hard to describe how difficult and uncomfortable a bad psychedelic experience can be. If you've had one, odds are you'd like to avoid a repeat. This is why we have put together this short webinar, so you can learn some of the most common mistakes and hopefully avoid them.
At Psychedelics Today, we believe difficult experiences can have value, but they are only desirable under very specific situations.

There are very few people who have been actively involved in the psychedelic space for as long as Joe Moore.
As a co-founder of Psychedelics Today, Joe has been at the forefront of psychedelic education. Joe began exploring psychedelics after discovering the work of transpersonal psychology founder Dr. Stanislav Grof when he was a philosophy student at Plymouth State University in 2001. Joe has been studying and practicing Grof’s Holotropic breathwork method at the Vermont-based Dreamshadow Group since 2003 and co-founded Boston Holotropic to facilitate breathwork workshops throughout New England.

Kyle's interest in exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness began at the age of 16 when he suffered a traumatic snowboarding accident. After this near-death experience, Kyle’s life changed dramatically. Kyle subsequently earned his B.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from Burlington College, where he focused on studying the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness by exploring shamanism, Reiki, local medicinal plants and plant medicine, Holotropic Breathwork, and psychedelic psychotherapy. Kyle has been studying Dreamshadow Transpersonal breathwork with Lenny and Elizabeth since October 2010.
Kyle earned his M.S. in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in somatic psychology from Prescott College. Kyle is a Licensed Associate Counselor and offers psychotherapy services specializing in psychedelic integration, spiritual emergence, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Kyle’s clinical background in mental health consists of working with at-risk teenagers in crisis and with individuals experiencing an early episode of psychosis and providing counseling to undergraduate/graduate students in a university setting..
